The iSelect Gold Coast Titans have landed a major sponsorship coup just days out from the start of the season, with the club striking a new upper jersey sponsorship with South East Queensland-based water supplier Illuminated Water. Illuminated Water, the creators of the world’s first illuminated water bottle with the only LED illumination system of its kind, have signed a two-year contract with the Titans as upper jersey sponsor and official water supplier for the club. They will also appear as a shorts sponsor of the club’s NYC Under-20s team. Significantly, Illuminated Water’s springs are located deep in the heart of the McPherson Ranges, located west of the Gold Coast. The spring water descends and filters through natural layers of rock before reaching the aquifer beneath the bedrock at Mount Tamborine. iSelect Titans Chief Executive Officer David May and Co-Captain Greg Bird today came together to welcome Illuminated Water into the club’s sponsorship family. “It’s great that a South East Queensland based water supplier such as Illuminated Water are backing their local team and have come on board with the Titans,’’ said May. “Illuminated Water have shown that they think outside the square with their products so it’s great to have another innovative company joining our Titans sponsorship family. “I think it’s also great for the club and for fans to know that the team will be fuelled by water from the local area over the next two years.’’ Illuminated Water Managing Director Brett Thomas said the company was excited to commence a new sponsorship deal with the Titans. “I live on the Gold Coast, my kids go to school on the Gold Coast, we are massive Titans fans and for us there is no other choice,’’ said Mr Thomas. “We’re excited about where the Titans are heading as a club this year and from our point of view, we think this sponsorship has the potential to be a great marketing tool for Illuminated Water to a national audience.’’ Illuminated Industries is a proudly Australian owned and operated company, which began in 2010 with a unique range of Illuminated Event Hire. Recently in 2012, Illuminated Industries expanded to include Illuminated Water. This product was designed and manufactured by Illuminated Industries Pty Ltd, and features a custom-manufactured LED light in the base of the bottle. The LED light is operated by a small button on the base of the bottle which can be set to a solid light, strobe or pulse effect. Illuminated Water is currently available in five different colours including; red, white, blue, green and pink. Illuminated Water’s spring water is sourced directly from the Australian Hinterland.
