Triple M is the new home of NRL, announcing the biggest line up of NRL stars in radio ahead of the NRL season kicking off on Thursday night with The Grill Team’s Million Dollar Kick.

Triple M is set to rock the sporting weekend in Sydney and Brisbane.  The stations will broadcast NRL matches on Thursday Night, Friday Night, Saturday Night, Sunday 3pm, Sunday Night and Monday Night* (Triple M Melbourne will also broadcast Monday night Melbourne Storm hit outs).

The unrivalled talent roster includes Peter Sterling, Andrew Johns, Matty Johns, Mark Geyer, Ryan Girdler, Gorden Tallis, Wendell Sailor, Nathan Hindmarsh, Bill Harrigan, Paul Gallen, Robbie Farah, Willie Mason, Brett Finch, Dan Ginnane, Anthony Maroon, Tony Squires, Steve Mascord, Ben Dobbin, Andrew Webster, Rugby League Week’s “The Mole” & Brent Read.

To launch the 2013 Season, Triple M is giving one Australian the chance to win one million dollars with one kick of the footy at halftime in the Roosters vs Rabbitohs. Ten balls to choose from, pick the right ball, get it through the post and the money is yours!

Triple M will follow the season launch by executing a “closer to the fans, closer to the clubs” marketing strategy with a big on ground presence at NRL matches this year having securing signage deals with six Sydney NRL Clubs including Penrith, Parramatta, Manly, Cronulla, Roosters and St George.

Guy Dobson, Southern Cross Austereo Chief Content Officer said, “Triple M has an unrivalled football heritage across the country.  Triple M is an exceptional sports broadcaster and is sure to deliver must listen to NRL content, with its powerful production teams and unrivalled on-air talent.”
Triple M’s 2013 star studded NRL call team adds to an already stellar show line up including The Rush Hour, Dead Set Legends, The Offload and Sydney breakfast show The Grill Team with NRL legends Matty Johns and Mark Geyer.

Triple M is committed to unbeatable radio and digital sporting content, and will further rock the NRL with streaming via its websites, digital apps and coverage on its extensive social media networks.
