The Sydney Roosters are pleased to confirm that the NRL has today advised that all conditions have been met and that the contract of Sonny Bill Williams has been granted approval for registration. Consequently, he will be available for the Sydney Roosters’ season opener against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Allianz Stadium on Thursday, March 7. “The Roosters have worked closely with the NRL regarding this matter and we were comfortable with the proceedings,” said Roosters Chief Operating Officer, Football, Brian Canavan. “We now look forward to continuing our preparations for the season opener against Souths, and getting on with what will hopefully be a memorable season of football.” |
